The Pont du Gard is an aqueduct that was built in Roman times. The aqueduct is 52 km long. He began his career in Fontaine Eure to reach Nimes.
The Pont du Gard is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Qaund you get to the Pont du Gard, you have to choose between the right bank and left bank.
On the left bank you have a museum and shops. As against to take pictures of the bridge, the right bank allows you to have more perspective. Anyway, you can go on foot from one bank to another.
In addition to the beauty of the bridge and its historical interest, you can stroll in the outdoor runs on the theme of "garrigue" (local vegetation), visit the museum of Roman times, and relax on the beach River Gardon summer.
We just surprised for pricing if we come by car, single tariff which is either 1 or 5 in the car.
